Thatcher Bitch
Extra Terrestrial nightmare in charge..."Mad Maggie" Thatcher at her height ; destroyer of quality of life for millions - the original vicious capitalist, the admired G20 archetype.

Ever since as a baby stoat remembering Thatcher the then young Tory education minister cutting free school milk to millions of growing children in the name of economics, I remember thinking... "what a bitch! ".. basically.
( A sentiment that only grew over time 'fraid. )

After neutering the unions and throwing hundreds of thousands of honest, decent hard-working miners on the slagheap - and in the process devastating entire communities - she proceeded to instigate the biggest post-war power shift this country has known ( and from her poisoned bosom it has spread worldwide like some malevolent virus ) during the mid to late 80s, even further away from ordinary working people and firmly towards the wealthy and the ruling elite, by surreptitiously passing a succession of anti-social stability and anti-democratic laws - opposed at the time by Labour but then enthusiastically endorsed by the duplicitous vicious war criminal "son of Thatcher" Tony Blair, upon gaining office.

For example she changed housing law so as no one is secure in their rented home for more than 2 months. She changed employment law so as no one's secure in their job. Turning people into fearful slaves on a rigged treadmill of eternal debt and inexorable state repression.
And the rot is continuing to this day under the cowardly self-serving empty-promise-a-minute Brown ....

The G20 London marches this week are essentially mass protests against that original vicious Thatcherist bully school of snout-in-the-trough control freak capitalist brutality.

They're marching against accelerating social injustice, an encroaching police and surveillance state and financial inequality, the global recession a result of unbridled capitalism. Just as Soviet communism failed abjectly in the end, exposed as an enslaver of people, so we're now witnessing the failure of its much-championed "alternative".

It was Alan Greenscam er span, the wizened economics adviser to Thatcher in the 80s, who masterminded the deregulation of markets in 2000, allowing banks - overseen and approved of by the likes of Gordon Brown - to lend insane multiples of income to unscrupulous property developers and buy-to-let spivs, who in the end took the billions and went on the lamb; leaving the man and woman in the global street to pick up the crippling tab.

And if anyone imagines the new Conservatives are likely to be any better...
" Thank goodness for Margaret Thatcher " - David Cameron, 2008.

Full circle then.

Anyone for the stoat's new " Putting people before excessive profit " party?
:)
